Hey! My name is Avi.
I’m drawn to photography because it allows me to slow things down and document real life as it unfolds.
Based in New York City and currently studying at the International Center of Photography, my work focuses on quiet moments within busy environments - the stillness that exists inside movement, the way people inhabit and respond to the spaces around them. I’m interested in how environments shape behavior, how emotion surfaces in unguarded moments, and what remains when distraction fades.
My approach is rooted in observation rather than intervention, guided by instinct, patience, and a sensitivity to what feels honest. Each image is an attempt to preserve a moment as it was, unforced and grounded in lived experience.
